Chen Lin

Chen Lin has over 15 years experience as an IT professional, including over 10 years experience in business analysis.

Commencing her career as a researcher in control engineering, Chen held the positions of Software Engineer, Technical Business Analyst and Business Analyst. Most recently, Chen spent five years as Senior Validation and Verification Engineer with a major transportation company and three years as a Senior Business Analyst, prior to joining BCI Technology.

Through her roles, Chen has gained experience in successfully managing multiple stakeholders as primary responsible analyst. She has acquired comprehensive skills in quality assurance, testing, change management and project co-ordination throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) in large scale, complex organisations. Chen also has extensive experience in requirements engineering, process modeling, data structure and modeling, application development and systems architecture.

Chen has a strong knowledge of software engineering techniques and methodologies including Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK), Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Business Process Management (BPM).

Chen’s IT system experience spans a range of industries including automation, transportation, logistics, safety critical practices, state government, education, legal services, and digital media and she has continually developed her skills and knowledge base, expanding her multi-disciplinary capabilities. She enjoys working in fast-paced and challenging environments and has a strong client focus.
